Rosemont Middle School is a great school. It has many electives students can choose for their class of the semester or whole school year. There are advanced classes that students may take if the school standards are too simple or easy for them. This school has only seventh and eighth graders, yet contains more than 1,300 students! My daughter graduated Rosemont last year and says that it's a great experience!

Rosemont Middle School is an exceptional school! I have had nothing but positive experiences with the administrators, office staff, and teachers. Student issues are handled quickly and with the greatest of care for the well being of all students involved. Yes, this is a large campus with a lot of students, but it would be difficult to find a school whose staff cares more for their students.

I'd read glowing reviews about Rosemont, but I'm still on the fence about it. It's extremely large, and kids can get lost in the crowd; such a change from my child's elementary school, where everyone knew him. There are committed and caring teachers, yet virtually no time for individual attention or support; and the office staff always seem busy and not overly welcoming to parents. Bullying does happen (routinely, according to my son), and I was underwhelmed by the administration's response to it. Definitely not a good fit for every student.

Rosemont offers a diverse range of intellectually challenging opportunities for students across the academic spectrum. The fact that this non "Title One" school is able to provide such a varied range of extra curricular activities ranging from sports, music, arts, robotics, etc. at minimal or no cost to the students and have state of the art technology available is a testament to the outstanding advocacy of the Principal on behalf of the students. Faculty/staff take the time to actually get to know families and vest themselves in the well being of the students. Assistant Principals do double duty putting in endless hours after school and assisting at community events. As a special Ed parent I feel blessed to have Counselors and a Resource Specialist who encourage personal growth and support uniqueness. Rosemont, under Mr. Terry Parker, offers an amazing wood shop program that offers kids an experience that simply does not exist in public education any longer. Mr. Rod Yonkers passionately enjoys 12 hour days as Maestro of the various bands, orchestras and ensembles and leads Rosemont in festivals across the south land. Office administrative staff lovingly nurture kids of all ages!

I've had two kids graduate from Rosemont with no problem at all. There are many great teachers who really care! Math teachers take turns offering free after-school tutoring for anyone who wants it. My kids are now excelling at CV High School. As for parent involvement...they're in middle school - it's time to step back a little :)

Rosemont Rocks! It Is a place for kids to grow up to be independent citizens. The teachers are amazing and care deeply about their students. The principal is loved by the kids because she works hard to make a positive difference in their lives. She encourages them to participate In clubs, activities, and afterschool sports. For a middle school it is just outstanding!

Thank you Rosemont for looking out for the best interest of all kids. It was inspiring to see so many kids supporting their communtiy today. Rosemont students were out in full force. As a member of this community I am proud to see our youth in action making a difference.

I have two children that had great success at Rosemont Middle School. I have to admit I was nervous as a parent when my oldest was about to start middle school. We didn't know what to expect. It's a scary transition for both children and parents. When Chris, my oldest, came home the first day with enthusiasm, my husband and I were relieved. It turned out to be a great experience, scholastically and socially for both my boys. The teachers have been engaging and supportive. Both my boys really enjoyed there classes and were motivated to learn. Both developed a great circle of friends that are really great kids. We found there to be a nice sense of community amongst the student body and the teachers. The office staff were also very friendly and helpful. There was a new principal who I really like; she genuinely seams to want the best for all students. My family had a great four years apart of Rosemont Middle School, which we will always hold with high rearguard.

A number of my friends' kids have just been promoted to 9th grade. They all feel that their children had an excellent education at Rosemont. The staff is very supportive and there are some great after-school programs that build self esteem and leadership skills.

I had two children attend Rosemont ten years apart and both of them had bad experiences. Both of them are identified gifted and both had excellent elementary school experiences. Their teachers at Rosemont were uninspiring in some cases downright negative.

This school did not offer the best experience for me. there were a lot of fights and the Vice-principals were not very understanding. the rules were very restricting on personal expression. i was put into only a few advanced placement classes so i was bored in most of my classes and i got the same elective over and over. there is not a lot of variety in the classes and they don't have enough challenging classes for someone like me. only when i got to cv was i really challenged in my classes. and rosemont did not adequately prepare my for high school.

Our teachers work hard to encourage students to focus on academic goals.

My son has special needs and we definitely had to keep in touch with all of this teachers to be sure his accommodations were met. My daughter has done pretty well. The school could do a better job if it weren't so crowded. We could use another middle school in the area.
